Boise State men's basketball announces 2023-24 season schedule

According to a recent news release, Boise State men's basketball will open the 2023-24 season at home against Vanguard on Nov. 7. All dates for conference games are subject to change pending TV designations by the Mountain West's broadcast partners.

The first opportunity for fans to see the Broncos in action is a public scrimmage on Oct. 7 at 3:30 p.m. at ExtraMile Arena as part of the Homecoming festivities leading up to the football game against San Jose State at 6 p.m.

Boise State opens its quest for a third-straight NCAA Tournament appearance with back-to-back home games against Vanguard and San Francisco on Nov. 12.

Boise State will travel to South Carolina to play Clemson in the first leg of a home-and-home series with the ACC foe on Nov. 19.

Boise State will head south for the ESPN Events Invitational in Orlando, Florida. The ESPN Feast Week field features six NCAA tournament fields led by Final Four participant Florida Atlantic and preseason-ranked Texas A&M.

The Broncos open the tournament against Virginia Tech on Nov. 23 and will play Iowa State or VCU the following day before closing out the invitational on Nov. 26.

On Dec. 1, Boise State and St. Mary's meet in a Quad 1 game in Idaho Falls at Hero Court at the Mountain America Center, the first Division 1 basketball game at the arena.

A four-game homestand from Dec. 5-17 awaits the Broncos, followed by another neutral-site contest against Washington State in Spokane, Washington, on Dec. 21.

The non-conference slate ends at home against Utah Valley on Dec. 29 to close out 2023.

The Broncos open conference play on the road at San Jose State the weekend of Jan. 6. Boise State will play home-and-home games against all conference opponents except for Wyoming and UNLV. The Cowboys will not travel to ExtraMile Arena, while Boise State will not visit UNLV.

Home games for the Broncos are tentatively set for Colorado State on Jan. 9, UNLV on Jan. 16, San Diego State on Jan. 20, Utah State on Jan. 27, Air Force on Feb. 3, Fresno State on Feb. 17, San Jose State on Feb. 20, New Mexico on March 2 and Nevada on March 5.

Road games are tentatively scheduled for San Jose State on Jan. 6, Nevada on Jan. 13, Fresno State on Jan. 23, New Mexico on Jan. 30, Colorado State on Feb. 6, Utah State on Feb. 10, Wyoming on Feb. 24, Air Force on Feb. 27 and San Diego State on March 9.

The Mountain West Men's Basketball Championship returns to Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas March 13-16.
