New Support Quests and Items To Diversify The Role In League of Legends

Riot has revealed new support quests and items for preseason 2024.

Support is one of the most important roles in League of Legends. Their objective is to pin down the opponents, help the ally team members as much as possible, apply crowd control to the enemies, put wards into bushes, etc. Depending on the team’s needs, they also provide necessary support as either frontline or backline. Even if the solo laners are bad, a good support with a decent jungler can easily carry the game to victory.

Usually, Supports don’t really take minion golds, as they can generate gold through their support item. Moreover, when they do get a minion, the same gold is also given to the nearest ally. They have this ability mainly due to their Support item.

With Support items, Support mains can passively earn gold. Moreover, they can upgrade their Support item by doing Support quests. Currently, these Support quests are just earning gold through the Support items. Once the player upgrades their item, they will be able to hold extra Stealth Ward in their inventory. Moreover, these Stealth Wards won’t take up the slot of the existing ward. So they can have both the Oracle’s Lens and the support item Stealth Ward.

Recently, Riot has unveiled the Preseason 2024 dev log. Even though in every prior season, the jungle gets changed, however surprisingly, support will be receiving the most amount of changes this season. These changes include both items and quest changes. So here’s all of them.
